Identification

Minor worker: head length 0.63mm, head width 0.57mm, scape length 0.57mm, Webers length 0.76mm (n=1). Head rounded behind, with medial area flattened; mesonotal suture weakly impressed; propodeal spines medium length, erect; face and most of mesosoma reticulate rugose; side of pronotum largely smooth and shining; first gastral tergum smooth and shining; dorsal pilosity abundant, medium length, flexuous; pilosity on tibiae of uniform length, subdecumbent, shorter than maximum width of tibia; color dark red brown.

Major worker: head length 1.18mm, head width 1.18mm, scape length 0.60mm (n=1). Anterior third of face yellow, sharply differentied from brown posterior portion; weak antennal scrobes present in the form of broad, shallow depressions beneath scapes; face shiny; medial area between frontal carinae shiny with subparallel longitudinal rugae; lateral areas beneath sweep of scapes reticulate rugose; posterior half of face smooth and shining; hypostomal margin flat; median tooth absent; stout lateral teeth about one third distance from midline to recessed teeth flanking mandible bases; dorsal pilosity abundant; head with abundant, long, suberect setae projecting from sides of head in face view.

Compared to prolixa, the postpetiole in dorsal view seems somewhat more elongate and quadrate before tapering anteriorly; on prolixa it looks more pyriform.
