Range
Costa Rica: montane forest of Cordillera de Talamanca.
Identification
Medium size; color black; propodeum strongly elevated.
Natural History
I know this species from only two collections. The two localities are Estacion Biol. Pittier, 9¡02'N, 82¡58'W, 1670m; and Fila Cruces, nr San Vito, 8¡47'N, 83¡03'W, 1200m. Both collections were Winkler samples of sifted litter from the forest floor, in montane wet forest.
