Identification

Natural History

This species is known from males only. Eighteen specimens have been collected by the ALAS project. It is rare at La Selva, more common at the 300m site (Cantarrana) on the Barva transect, and rare at the 500m site (El Ceibo). At La Selva it is known from one specimen collected at the lab clearing blacklight. At Cantarrana one specimen was collected at a mercury vapor lamp, and 14 more were collected in Malaise traps and flight intercept traps. At El Ceibo, two specimens were collected in Malaise traps.
