Range
Costa Rica south to Peru, Amazonian Brazil.
Identification
Color black; mesosomal dorsum with abundant erect setae; scapes lacking erect setae; dorsal and posterior faces of propodeum separated by a well-defined transverse flange; face and mesosomal dorsum sublucid, not foveate; pronotal humeri in the form of right to slightly acute angles, but not produced as distinct spines.
Natural History
I know this species from Canopy fogging samples at La Selva Biological Station, and two collections from fresh tree falls at Sirena in Corcovado National Park. Nothing else is known of the biology of this species.
