Range

Costa Rica (Osa Peninsula).

Identification

Antennae 11-segmented; in lateral view, dorsal and ventral margins of fourth abdominal segment convex; pilosity relatively long, giving a scruffy appearance; dorsum of third abdominal segment with a glassy, dimpled look, puncta shallow and partially effaced; dorsum of fourth abdominal segment with puncta effaced posteriorly, forming shallow crescents; face and pronotal dorsum with dense, finely spaced puncta.

Natural History

This species is known from one specimen from a Winkler sample from Rancho Quemado on the Osa Peninsula, in lowland rainforest habitat.
