Natural History
This species occurs in wet forest leaf litter and is known mainly from Winkler samples. The ALAS project has yielded specimens from three different Berlese samples from La Selva Biological Station, one Winkler sample from the 500m site, and one Winkler sample from the 1070m site on the Barva transect. Also, an alate queen was collected in a canopy fogging sample on 8 October 1994. I have collected workers in Winkler samples from Refugio Eladio in the Pe–as Blancas Valley.
