Range

Widespread in the tropics and subtropics.

Identification

Propodeal suture not impressed; mesosoma dark brown, concolorous with gaster; propodeal spines relatively short.

Natural History

In Costa Rica I have found workers in the town square of La Cruz in Guanacaste Province (C. emeryi were in the same collection), and I have seen a collection of workers from an Anacardium trunk in Pavones. I tentatively identify as C. nuda a queen collected in a Malaise trap at La Selva Biological Station.
