Range
Costa Rica: Atlantic slope of Cordillera Volcanica Central, 300-500m elevation.
Identification
Minor worker: propodeum very narrow and elongate, in cross section tectiform (tent-like, like an inverted "V"), without a distinct angle separating lateral and dorsal faces; clypeus with median longitudinal keel; mesosoma very elongate and narrow in lateral view; abundant erect setae on sides of head, mesosomal dorsum, and gaster; scapes with sparse erect setae; mesosoma with mottled infuscation; WL 3.3mm (n=1); in face view head widest at mandibular insertions, tapering posteriorly; head behind eyes subtrapezoidal, long and tapering.

Natural History
This species inhabits mature wet forest. It is known from two collections by Project ALAS, from the 300m and 500m sites on the Barva Transect in Braulio Carrillo National Park. Multiple workers occurred in a canopy fogging sample from the 500m site, and a worker occurred in a Malaise trap sample from the 300m site.
