Notes

This species is known from one collection from the Penas Blancas Valley (Alajuela Prov., Penas Blancas Valley, Guindon cabin, 10deg18'N, 84deg42'W, 940m, 4 Jul 1984 (coll. J. Longino)). From Longino field notes:

Wet forest, around Guindon cabin. At edge of clearing I cut down a small sapling that had a vertical dead trunk ca.4m high, ca.10cm outer diameter. The upper half of the dead trunk contained a long central chamber with a Pachycondyla lineaticeps nest. At the bottom of the nest was a small side chamber containing a Rogeria colony. The chamber appeared to connect with the Pachycondyla nest.
