Identification
Minor worker: head length 0.53mm, head width 0.50mm, scape length 0.52mm, Webers length 0.61mm (n=1). Head somewhat flattened behind; mesonotal suture absent; propodeal spines short, spiniform; face and most of mesosoma shallowly foveolate, sides of pronotum nearly smooth; first gastral tergum smooth and shining; dorsal pilosity abundant, long, flexuous; color dirty orange.
Major worker: head length 0.81mm, head width 0.82mm, scape length 0.55mm (n=1). Face punctatorugose throughout, rugae longitudinal and subparallel; hypostomal margin curved between lateral teeth; median tooth small, nubbin-like; lateral teeth short, triangular, two thirds to three fourths distance from midline to recessed teeth flanking mandible bases (Figure); dorsal pilosity abundant; head with abundant setae projecting from sides of head in face view.

Costa Rica (Atlantic lowlands).
Natural History
Arboreal in mature wet forest; nests under epiphytes.
