Identification
Minor worker: head length 0.50mm, head width 0.45mm, scape length 0.40mm, Webers length 0.56mm (n=1). Head somewhat flattened behind; mesonotal suture absent; humeri produced as triangular tubercles; propodeal spines long, spiniform; face foveolate, with faint longitudinal rugae medially; mesosoma punctatorugose; first gastral tergum smooth and shining; dorsal pilosity abundant, short, flexuous; color orange.
Major worker: head length 0.81mm, head width 0.75mm, scape length 0.39mm (n=1). Clypeus with median keel; face punctatorugose anteriorly, smooth and shining posteriorly, rugae longitudinal and subparallel; hypostomal margin straight, with very small, nubbin-like median tooth and stout, pointed lateral teeth about one half distance from midline to recessed teeth flanking mandible bases; dorsal pilosity abundant; head with abundant setae projecting from sides of head in face view.

Costa Rica.
Natural History
Arboreal in mid-elevation rainforest; nests in dead stems.
