Range

Nesomyrmex echinatinodis complex: tropical Mexico to southern and western Brazil.

Identification

Species complex: antennae 11-segmented; metasternal lobes rounded; propodeal spiracles directed posteriorly, not highly visible in dorsal view (contrast pleuriticus). Nesomyrmex dalmasi: face sublucid, reticulate-rugose sculpture strong on cheeks, weaker but present on posterior sides of head, smooth and shining on medial frons and vertex margin; fourth abdominal tergite smooth and shining or with faint striations or shagreening anteriorly.
