Comments
This species is like a large version of L. haskinsi, known from one collection from the northernmost slope of the Cordillera de Guanacaste in Costa Rica. Lachnomyrmex haskinsi has not been collected north of the Cordillera de Tilar‡n, so there is no evidence of sympatry of the two species yet.
