Antennae and eyes black; head, pronotum, elytra, and legs reddish-yellow; elytra yellow with black markings. Head: depressed between eyes; medial sulcus present; sparsely punctate; frons with tubercle. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II-IV cylindrical, II longest; V transverse; VI-VII transverse, each 1/2 length of V; VIII-X cylindrical, thicker than preceding; XI acutely pointed at apex; VIII-XI with pale pubescence. Pronotum: anterior angles with large tooth; posterior angles angulate; side margins angulate in middle, straight and divergent from base to middle, then straight and convergent from middle to apex; transverse basal impression; convex; disc sparsely punctate; densely punctate at sides. Scutellum: quadrate; micropunctate. Elytra: expanded to apex; side margins smooth; exterior apical angles with tooth; humeri projecting; intervals 2 and 4 carinate, 8 carinate in middle; 10 rows of punctures; row 10 on marginal lamina, punctures oblong laterally; apices and side margins laminate. Venter: last abdominal sternum with fringe of long yellowish setae at apex. Legs: tibiae expanded to apex, with fringe of setae at apex; tarsi darker. Total length: 12.4 mm.
