Sumitrosis terminatus (Baly)

Hispinae, Chrysomelidae, Coleoptera, Insecta, Arthropoda, Animalia


Elongate; black. Head: smooth, impunctate; front with three sulci; interocular space produced. Antennae: nearly half body length; filiform, slender; slightly thickened to apex; segments cylindrical; I-II short, subequal in length. Pronotum: wider than long; subconical; side margins converging from base to apex; transversely convex; depressed behind middle, closely punctate; basal margin raised. Elytra: side margins parallel, slightly enlarged to apical angles; apices obtusely rounded; outer margin nearly entire, obsoletely serrate behind middle and at apex; 8 regular rows of punctures plus short scutellar row; tricostate. Total length: 3.7 mm.
