Sumitrosis fryi (Baly)

Morphology. Yellowish, shining; venter black; pronotum with black markings on lateral margins; elytra with scattered black markings. Head: vertex and front opaque; medial sulcus present; frons projecting. Antennae: longer than head and pronotum combined; antennomeres cylindrical; apical five thicker than preceding. Pronotum: subconic, slightly wider than long; lateral margins converging from base to apex, weakly angulate in middle; coarsely punctate; basal impression present. Elytra: oblong; lateral margins sinuate, slightly dilated at apex; apical margin weakly serrate; with 8 regular rows of punctures plus short scutellar row; intervals 2, 4, and 6 costate; interval 6 less distinct behind middle, sharply elevated at apex and joining interval 4; humeri produced laterally, with obtuse apex. Length: 3.4 mm.
