Sumitrosis amica (Baly)

Hispinae, Chrysomelidae, Coleoptera, Insecta, Arthropoda, Animalia


Elongate, subparallel, black. Head: vertex and front smooth, impunctate; front sulcate. Antennae: nearly half body length; filiform, slightly thickened toward apex; segments cylindrical; III shorter than II. Pronotum: wider than long, subcylindrical; side margins converging from base to apex, more strongly and sinuate before middle; anterior angles acute; depressed behind middle; coarsely, deeply punctate. Elytra: nearly parallel; apices cojointly rounded; minutely serrulate; 8 regular rows of punctures plus short scutellar row; tricostate. Total length: 3.9-4.5 mm.
