Subcylindrical; bluish-metallic, antennae black. Pronotum: scarcely wider than long; sides narrowly margined; side margins straight and parallel, rounded and converging at apex; apical margin sinuate on each side, produced in middle; basal margin deeply concave on each side, medial lobe obtusely rounded; finely, sparsely punctate; minutely granulose. Scutellum: pentagonal. Elytra: side margins parallel, faintly sinuate in middle, rounded and converging from middle third to apex; apices cojointly emarginate; apical margin finely serrulate; finely punctate-striate, rows of punctures distinct to apex; intervals granulose, finely and irregularly strigose. Total length: 6.2 mm.
Larval host plant: Cyperus sp. (Cyperaceae). |
