Stenispa graminicola Uhmann

Black with slight metallic sheen. Head: medial sulcus present; fova on vertex; punctate. Antennae: segment I globose; II transverse; III cylindrical, longest; IV-X transverse; XI obtusely rounded. Pronotum: side margins straight; posterior angles acute; anterior angles with tooth; sides canaliculate; convex; sparsely punctate; alutaceous. Scutellum: pentagonal; alutaceous. Elytra: slightly constricted behind humeri; side margins smooth; apical margins finely dentate; rows of punctures shallow; alutaceous. Venter: punctate; sides of prosternum rugose; sides of metasternum and first abdominal sternum more densely punctate. Legs: femora punctate; tibiae with golden setae on inner margin.
