Sceloenopla nevermanni Uhmann

Yellowish-brown with black antennae, legs, and V-shaped pronotal macula. Head: medial sulcus present; vertex and front alutaceous, impunctate. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II cuspidate, twice length of I; III subequal in length to II, laterally compressed; IV-VII decreasing in length, laterally compressed; VIII-X transverse; XI acutely pointed at apex; II-VII striate; I punctate; VIII-XI hirsute. Pronotum: covered with large, dense punctures; medial sulcus on basal half; side margins bisinuate; anterior angles with obtuse tooth; posterior angles rectangulate; side margins darkened. Scutellum: quadrate; dark; alutaceous. Elytra: side margins smooth; apical angles bidentate; apical angle emarginate; 10 regular rows of punctures; interspace 4 carinate for entire length; 6 carinate from humerus to 1/3 length of elytra; strongly deflexed from carina to side margin; slightly darkened at suture at base. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna yellow in middle, black laterally; prosternum punctate at sides; meso- and metasterna alutaceous laterally; abdomen diffused patterns of yellow and dark brown. Legs: femora yellow at base, rest black; tibiae with fringe of golden setae at apex. Total length: 6.5 mm.
