Sceloenopla longula (Baly)

Hispinae, Chrysomelidae, Coleoptera, Insecta, Arthropoda, Animalia


Elongate, almost parallel; yellowish; scutellum, antennae, and legs black. Antennae: longer than half body length; filiform, slightly thickened toward apex; cylindrical. Pronotum: longer than wide; side margins straight, nearly parallel, slightly bisinuate, obtusely angulate; anterior angles acute; disc densely foveolate-punctate. Elytra: side margins parallel, slightly constricted in middle, slightly dilated posteriorly; apical angle obtuse; apices rounded, sinuate just within exterior angle; each elytron with 12 rows of punctures at base, middle with 10, apex with 11; intervals 4, 6, and 8 costate; humeral callus laterally elevated, obtuse. Total length: 9.0 mm.
