Lampyrid-like; first seven antennal segments bicolored; head black with reddish markings, pronotum yellow ochre with rosaceous blush with black longitudinal medial vitta from base three-fourths toward anterior margin; elytra umber with yellow ochre vitta; legs with profemora ochre, dark at apex, rest of leg dark, middle and hind legs dark. Head: vertex with fovea; carina near base of antennae; scattered punctures near eyes; alutaceous; frons projecting, punctate. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II transverse; III cylindrical, subequal in length to I and III; IV-V cuspidate; VI-VII transverse; VIII-X cylindrical; XI pointed at apex; I-VII dark basally, pale apically; VIII-XI finely setose. Pronotum: lateral margins straight and divergent for basal half, then expanded and rounded at apex; large tooth present in each anterior angle; convex; medial longitudinal sulcus on disc; scattered punctures on disc and near lateral margins. Scutellum: quadrate; micropunctate. Elytra: humeri produced, angulate; lateral margins laminate, expanded, smooth; puncture row 10 removed from lateral margins; widest just behind humeri where lamina begin; exterior apical angle with backward directed tooth; apical margin sinuate, slightly emarginate at suture, with small tooth; interspace 2 wide, costate (yellow vitta follows costa); 10 rows of punctures, punctures foveolate. Venter: prosternum rosaceous with black along basal margin laterally; meso- and metasterna rosaceous medially, black laterally; mesosternum punctate laterally; abdominal sterna yellow ochre with black markings; suture between abdominal sterna 1 and 2 obsolete in middle. Legs: profemora with tooth near apex; coxae with meron. Total length: 9.4 mm.
