Sceloenopla gracilenta Baly

Yellowish-brown; antennae, legs, and venter black; pronotum with black medial vitta; elytra with black sutural vittae at base. Head: medial fovea which becomes medial carina; vertex micropunctate; frons with small tooth. Antennae: segment I subglobose, punctate; II cylindrical; III-VII cylindrical, decreasing in length, compressed laterally; VIII-X cylindrical, subequal in length; XI elongate, obtusely pointed at apex; VIII-XI with golden setae. Pronotum: side margins strongly bisinuate, angulate in middle; anterior angles with tooth; posterior angles acute; covred with large, shallow punctures; transverse basal impression; disc flattened. Scutellum: cordate; yellowish-red; micropunctate. Elytra: expanded to apex; side margins smooth; exterior apical angle with tooth; emarginate at sutural angles with large dentate tooth; interval 4 costate; intervals 2 and 6 slightly raised, 8 raised from midpoint to external apical angle; 10 rows of punctures base to apex. Venter: prosternum reddish-yellow laterally; pro-, meso-, and metasterna smooth in middle, rugose at sides; abdominal sterna with patches of setae in middle, sparsely punctate at sides. Legs: femora plae on basal half, then black; tibiae with fringe of golden setae at apex. Total length: 6.7-7.9 mm.
