Head black; antennal segments I-VIII black, IX-XI yellowish-orange; pronotum orangish with side longitudinal medial vitta and lateral vittae black; elytra orangish, apical fourth black. Head: deep medial sulcus becomes carina before base of antennae; vertex striate-punctate; frons yellow, smooth. Antennae: segments I-II cylindrical; III-VII laterally compressed, III longest; VIII-X cylindrical; XI pointed at apex; last four segments shorter than preceding four. Pronotum: lateral margins bisinuate; constricted behind head; tooth present in each anterior angle; convex; densely punctate; slight basal impression present. Scutellum: quadrate; alutaceous. Elytra: lateral margins smooth; apical margins bidentate, emarginate at suture; two costae (intervals 2 and 4), costa 2 most pronounced; 10 complete rows of punctures. Venter: prosternum umber and alutaceous medially; black and punctate laterally; meso- and metasterna umber and smooth medially, black and alutaceous laterally; abdominal sterna umber; suture between sterna 1 and 2 obsolete in middle. Legs: dark; base of femora and tarsi pale; mesotibiae curved. Total length: 6.7 mm. |
