Prosopodonta Baly 1858:68.

Head: medial sulcus absent; antennae separated by sharp keel. Antennae: filiform, segments I-II subequal, thick; III cylindrical, as long as I and II combined; IV-VI shorter, oblong, decreasing in length; VII-XI short, slightly dilated. Pronotum: transverse; margined laterally and basally; scattered coarse punctures posteriorly on side margin. Scutellum: cuspidate. Elytra: oblong; margined laterally; no costae; apices rounded. Legs: profemur may have a tooth.
