Reddish-brown with black markings. Head: faint medial sulcus which becomes a carina before base of antennae; vertex alutaceous; large puncture on inner margin of eye; frons not projecting. Antennae: segments I, VII, VIII reddish, II-VI darker; I subglobose; II-VII transverse, III longer than II or IV; VIII elongate, compressed club; VII-VIII setose. Pronotum: tooth in anterior angles; basal impression present; covered with large, dense punctures; convex; trapezoidal; side margins and medial longitudinal vitta black; side margins convergent to apex. Scutellum: quadrate; alutaceous. Elytra: side margins dentate; large darkened tooth-like lamina in exterior apical angles; apical margins dentate; 10 regular rows of punctures plus scutellar row of 3 punctures; intervals 2, 4, and 8 carinate, all evenly produced; side margin darkened from base to just beyond middle; humeri darkened; interval 3 dark on basal half; interval 1 dark at base. Venter: pale except side of metasternum; metasternum rugose and punctate at sides; abdominal sterna with row of setae at apex. Legs: femora and tibiae punctate; tibiae spatulate. Total length: 6.0 mm.
