Probaenia pici Uhmann

Brownish-yellow; antennae and eyes black; pronotum with three black vittae; elytra with black humeral, basal, and basal markings. Head: medial sulcus present; vertex alutaceous; frons not projecting. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II transverse; III cylindrical; IV-VII transverse; VIII elongate club, acute; I-IV punctate; V-VIII hirsute; VIII longest. Pronotum: widest at base; side margins straight and parallel for basal half, then sharply convergent; anterior angles with tooth; posterior angles acute; uniformly punctate; convex; slight basal impression. Scutellum: quadrate; alutaceous. Elytra: side margins dentate; apices strongly dentate; exterior apical angle with strong bidentate tooth; interspaces 2, 4, and 8 completely costate, 6 costate at base and apex; interspace 2 strongest; punctures in regular rows. Venter: prosternum reddish-yellow; meso- and metasterna reddish-yellow in middle, black at sides; abdomen black; mesosternum punctate at sides; abdominal sterna rugose at sides. Legs: profemora with three teeth in a triangular pattern near apex; meso- and metafemora unarmed; tibiae darkened at apex, fringe of setae at apex. Total length: 6.5 mm.
