Head black, orangish at base of antennae; antennae black; pronotum orangish with wide medial longitudinal vittae and narrow lateral vittae; elytra orangish with sutural black vittae and apical half black; legs black, base of femora pale. Head: medial sulcus present, becomes carina before base of antennae; two short sulci between medial sulcus and eyes; sulcus present on inner margin of each eye; vertex alutaceous; frons projecting. Antennae: segments I-II globose, punctate; III-VIII laterally compressed, sulcate; VIII acutely pointed at apex; III subequal in length to I and II combined; IV-VI transverse. Pronotum: widest at base; constricted just behind anterior margin; basal impression present; lateral margins sinuate; convex; densely punctate. Scutellum: quadrate; alutaceous. Elytra: lateral margins serrate; apical margins laminate, strongly dentate; sutural margin emarginate; costa 2 most pronounced, 3 present at base and apex. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna orangish medially, black laterally; prosternum smooth medially, rugose laterally; mesosternum smooth medially, punctate laterally; mestasternum smooth medially, punctate-rugose laterally; abdominal sterna dark, rugose laterally. Legs: femora with inner margins serrate. Total length: 7.4 mm.
