Oxyroplata Uhmann 1937:454.

Head: medial sulcus present; frons strongly projecting. Antennae: 8-segmented, compressed, segments sharply pointed; segment I subglobular, slightly compressed laterally; II transverse, shortest; III large, laterally compressed, almost as long as IV-V combined; IV-VII transverse, decreasing in width and length; VIII elongate, acutely pointed at apex. Pronotum: longer than wide; basal impression present; widest at base; tooth in anterior angles. Scutellum: quadrate. Elytra: 10 rows of punctures; four costae, 2 and 4 strongly produced, 1 complete, 3 visible at base and apex; lateral margins dentate and margined; apices laminate and strongly dentate, subcordate-emarginate.
