Oxychalepus alienus (Baly)

Subelongate; yellowish; head, antennae, and legs black; pronotum and elytra with black markings. Head: front trisulcate; interocular space strongly produced, obtuse, upper surface with short longitudinal carina. Antennae: half body length; filiform; last five segments closely articulate; XI very acute. Pronotum: transverse, subconical; side margins obliquely converging from base to apex, bisinuate; subcylindrical, transverse depression behind disc at base; torulose at base on each side; irregularly punctate. Elytra: narrowly oblong; parallel-sided; finely serrulate on sides; apices conjointly rounded, coarsely denticulate, with 2 or 3 large teeth on each side; 10 regular rows of punctures, intervals elevated; intervals 2 and 4 strongly costate, 8 moderately costate, 6 costate at base and apex. Total length: 7.9-9.0 mm.
