Subcuniform; depressed; reddish, vertex of head black. Head: vertex and front flat; front carinate medially. Antennae: longer than head and pronotum. Pronotum: side margins converging from base to apex, sinuate near base and again just before apex; subcylindrical, transverse depression behind middle; coarsely, deeply foveolate-punctate; with black markings. Elytra: parallel-sided from base to beyond middle, slightly dilated posteriorly; rounded at apex; exterior angle produced laterally, rounded; side margins finely serrulate; apical margins more strongly serrulate; each elytron with 8 rows of punctures; suture plus intervals 2, 4, and 6 costate. Total length: 6.2-6.8 mm.
