Imatidium rufiventre Boheman

Metallic blue. Head: densely punctate; slightly depressed on vertex; faint medial carina. Antennae: segments I-II cylindrical, thicker than others; III-V cylindrical, III longest; VI-X transverse; XI obtusely rounded at apex, laterally compressed. Pronotum: widest at base; side margins rounded to apex; sides alutaceous; rest micropunctate with larger punctures. Scutellum: pentagonal. Elytra: constricted behind humeri; puncture row 10 distant from side margin; alutaceous from puncture row 10 to side margin; punctures shallowly impressed. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna dark; abdominal sterna reddish-yellow. Legs: femora and tibae dark; tibiae with golden setae at apex; tarsi yellowish. Total length: 4.75 mm.
