Head, pronotum, and legs reddish, elytra metallic blue. Head: punctate; medial sulcus absent; depressed between eyes; antennal bases widely separated. Antennae: segments I-II reddish, glabrous; III-XI black, setose; I transverse, rounded; II-III cylindrical, III longer than II; IV-X transverse; XI acutely pointed at apex. Pronotum: sides straight and parallel for basal 3/4 then convergent, canaliculate; convex; virtually impunctate. Scutellum: triangular; alutaceous. Elytra: side and apical margins smooth; punctures moderately impressed; row 10 slightly removed from side margin. Venter: brownish-yellow; prosternum rugose at sides; meso- and metasterna punctate laterally; abdominal sterna setose. Legs: coxae punctate; femora setose; tibiae with row of setae on inner margin. Total length: 5.4 mm.
