Head, pronotum, and legs reddish; elytra metallic blue; eyes and antennae (except for segments I and II) dark; abdomen fuscus; relatively flat. Head: vertex with short medial sulcus; punctate; frons not projecting. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II-X cylindrical, I twice length of I, III more than twice length of II, III-X decreasing in length; III-XI setose. Pronotum: side margins straight and convergent for basal half, then rounded and convergent to apex, canaliculate; anterior angles rounded; posterior angles acutely pointed; convex; widest at base; scattered punctures along basal, apical, and lateral margins. Scutellum: triangular; rugose. Elytra: side margins sparsely, finely serrate; apical margins finely serrate; humeri slightly produced; slightly constricted behind humeri; 10 rows of lightly impressed punctures plus a short scutellar row. Venter: prosternum rugose laterally; meso- and metasterna punctate laterally; abdomen setose, sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle. Total length: 5.4 mm. |
