Oblong-elongate; yellowish or reddish; antennae, scutellum, and base of femora and tibiae black; pronotal and elytral markings extremely variable. Head: frontal horn narrows to apex; depressed between eyes; impunctate. Antennae: segment I robust, thickened, with projection on inner apical margin, flattened ventrally; II transverse, short; III cylindrical, longest; IV-VII decreasing in length; VIII-X transverse, wider than preceding; XI rounded at apex. Pronotum: transverse; sides margins straight, parallel; anterior angles rounded; posterior angles acute; large punctures in posterior angles; slightly depressed at base. Scutellum: elongate triangle. Elytra: oblong, parallel; apices cojointly rounded; punctate striate; side and apical margins smooth; punctures moderately impressed; rows of punctures tend to coalesce at apex; black markings extremely variable, most specimens with black humeral macula. Venter: pro- and mesocoxae large, globular; prosternal process acute at apex. Legs: tibiae broadly expanded at apex; pro- and mesotibiae toothed along apical margin; metatibiae with row of stiff setae on apical margin; femora sparsely punctate. Total length: 10.1-11.3 mm.
