Head black with orange interocular area; antennae black; pronotum orangish with wide black medial vitta and two lateral vittae; elytra orangish with apical third black, small black vitta at base; legs black except base of femora paler. Head: medial sulcus present; sulcus present on inner margin of each eye; vertex alutaceous; frons projecting, yellowish-orange; row of setae on outer margin of each eye. Antennae: segment I subglobose; II transverse; III cuspidate; IV-X transverse; XI acutely pointed at apex; III-V rugose; VI-XI setose. Pronotum: transverse; tooth present in each anterior angle; lateral margins slightly angulate in middle, more or less parallel on basal half, then convergent; convex; covered with large, dense punctures; surface between punctures alutaceous: basal impression present. Scutellum: quadrate; alutaceous. Elytra: lateral margins serrate; apical margins dentate; tricostate, 3 more pronounced, 1 and 2 pronounced at base and apex, less so in middle; puncture rows 5-8 regular. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna black laterally, yellowish medially; prosternum with few large punctures laterally and slightly rugose; mesoternum alutaceous laterally and smooth medially; metasternum with row of punctures laterally and slightly rugose and smooth medially; abdominal sterna black laterally, paler medially, segments 1 and 2 alutaceous laterally; suture between segments 1 and 2 obsolete in middle; 3 and 4 alutaceous and punctate laterally, with row of setae apically; 5 with 5 transverse rows of setae. Legs: tibiae and bases of femora punctate; tibiae with row of setae on inner margin and tuft of setae at apex. Total length: 5.9 mm. |
