Chalepus amiculus Baly

Elongate, subcylindrical; yellowish, scutellum and head black. Head: produced between eyes; front longitudinally sulcate, irregularly sculptured on each side. Antennae: half body length, slightly thickened to apex; segments I-II ovate, subequal; III longer. Pronotum: side margins rounded, nearly straight and parallel from base to middle, sinuate just beyond middle, constricted anteriorly; anterior angles with subacute tooth; transversely convex, slightly depressed at base; densely foveolate-punctate; side margins and broad discoidal vitta black. Elytra: side margins parallel, constricted in middle, serrulate, more strongly apically; apices regularly rounded; each elytron with 10 rows of punctures; intervals 2, 4, and 6 costate, 6 less raised. Total length: 5.6 mm.
