Cephaloleia ornatrix Donckier

Head and antennae black; pronotum reddish-brown with black macula on apical and basal margins; elytra black with 4 large yellow maculae. Head: vertex sparsely punctate-striate, slightly depressed between eyes; medial carina present; frons not projecting. Antennae: filiform; segment I incrassate; male with segment I clavate, long, compressed, obliquely truncate apically; II half length of I, finely punctate, setose, inner apical angle projecting; III 1 1/2 the length of II, triangular; IV subequal in length to III, triangular; V subequal in length to IV, cylindrical; VI-X subequal in length, expanding slightly to apex; XI oval; female has only segment I and III expanded; II longer, cylindrical, half length of I. Pronotum: slightly wider than long; disc sparsely punctate; apical macula semicircular behind head; horizontal macula along basal margin does not reach sides; sides margined, straight, parallel, then convergent at apex; anterior angles rounded, produced; posterior angles slightly produced, acute. Scutellum: triangular, slightly longer than wide; black; alutaceous. Elytra: sides margined, smooth, parallel; apices obtusely truncate; flattened along suture; finely punctate-striate, punctures little impressed; basal maculae elongate triangle, extends to midline, with narrow point curving around edge of humeri toward suture; apical maculae squarish, just above apex, covering apical fifth. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna reddish-brown in middle, black at sides; abdomen finely pubescent; last sternite emarginate in male, not emarginate in female. Legs: femora reddish-brown, apex dark; tibiae black, dentate at apex, setae on apical third; tarsi dark. Total length: 7.4-8.3 mm.
