Cephaloleia nigricornis (Fab.)

Reddish-brown. Head: vertex impunctate, not depressed between eyes; medial sulcus present; frons not projecting. Antennae: segments I-III reddish-brown; IV-XI darker; I cylindrical, thickened, punctate; II transverse; III cylindrical, 3/4 length of I; IV-X transverse, subequal in length; XI pointed at apex; IV-XI setose. Pronotum: slightly arched; sparsely and irregularly punctate; sides margined, parallel for basal 3/4, then rounded and convergent; anterior angles rounded, produced; posterior angles rectangular. Scutellum: pentagonal, smooth. Elytra: sides margined, smooth; punctures little impressed; apices cojointly rounded; humeri almost impunctate; rows of punctures confused at apex. Venter: prosternum smooth in middle, rugose at sides; meso- and metasterna entirely smooth; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; 3-5 setose. Legs: tibiae dentate at apex, setae on inner apex. Total length: 5.6-6.4 mm.
