Head, antennae, and elytra (except margins) dark; pronotum reddish. Head: black; densely punctate; medial sulcus absent; frons not projecting; depressed between eyes. Antennae: half body length; segments I-III cylindrical; I and III subequal in length; II slightly shorter than I or III; IV-X transverse, subequal in length; XI pointed at apex, longer than preceding; I and apex of XI reddish-black. Pronotum: reddish; nearly twice as wide as long; disc densely punctate; depressed near sides; sides with narrow black vitta, straight, converging from base to apex; anterior angles not produced, broadly rounded; posterior angles acute. Scutellum: dark; scarcely longer than wide; pentagonal; smooth. Elytra: oblong-ovate; convex; sides margined; apices cojointly rounded; strongly punctate-striate; rows of punctures converge and unite at apex. Venter: prosternum reddish, rest black; meso- and metasterna smooth in middle, punctate at sides; abdominal sterna setose. Legs: red except apical half of femora which are darker; tibiae with rows of setae on outer margin. Total length: 4.0 mm.
