Head, antennae, and pronotum black; elytra yellow with black sutural spot and vitta; legs yellow. Head: vertex densely punctate; faint medial carina; keel between antennae; frons not projecting. Antennae: filiform; more than half body length; segment I thickened, subequal in length to II; II cylindrical; III cylindrical, as long as I and II combined; IV-X cylindrical, decreasing in length; XI longer than preceding, rounded at apex; III-XI setose. Pronotum: black; slightly wider than long; arched; disc strongly punctate; sides strongly margined, parallel; anterior angles slightly produced, rounded; posterior angles angulate. Scutellum: pentagonal; smooth. Elytra: oblong; moderately convex; strongly punctate-striate; margined laterally; lateral and apical margins smooth; apices cojointly rounded; rows of punctures lightly impressed; rows of punctures complete; sutural vitta orbicular at base, to puncture row 3, narrows to only suture, darkened after middle. Venter: pro-, meso-, and metasterna red and smooth in middle, dark and punctate laterally; abdominal sterna 1 and 2 fused in middle; abdomen setose. Legs: dark; tibiae with fringe of setae at apex; femora punctate on top. Total length: 4.4-5.4 mm.
