Small, reddish-brown, almost rectangular in outline, flat. Head: vertex finely punctate; eyes dark; frons with projection. Antennae: short, reach to humeri; segments I-V reddish, VI-X black, XI reddish; I-II cylindrical, subequal in length; III not compressed or widened, subequal in length to I and II; XI oval. Pronotum: as wide as base of elytra; twice as wide as long; disc sparsely, finely, irregularly punctate; sides margined, parallel at base; anterior angles rounded; posterior angles acute. Scutellum: long; pentagonal. Elytra: weakly expanded at humeri; 10 1/2 rows of punctures, rows 6-9 obscure on humeri; margined; apices rounded; smooth. Venter: episternum punctate; epipleuron finely punctate, setose; last abdominal sternite semicircular, deeply emarginate in male; truncate in female. Legs: reddish. Total length: 4.3-5.6 mm. |
