Baliosus productus (Baly)

Subcuniform, depressed. Head; smooth, impunctate; slightly produced between eyes. Antennae: robust, longer than head and pronotum; segments cylindrical, gradually increasing in thickness from segment VI. Pronotum: transverse; side margins slightly rounded, nearly straight and parallel from base to middle, then slightly rounded and converging to apex; anterior angles with short tooth; subcylindrical; depressed behind middle; coarsely, densely punctate; small black macula on each side of depression, side margins black. Elytra: oblong; side margins parallel basally, slightly dilated to apex; exterior angles slightly produced, obtuse; apices slightly sinuate on each side near exterior angle; side margins distinctly serrulate; apical margin minutely serrulate; each elytron with 10 rows of punctures, 9 on disc; suture plus intervals 2, 4, 6, and 8 costate, 8 less raised, 6 interrupted in middle. Total length: 4.5 mm.
