Costa Rica: Osa Peninsula (Fernandez and MacKay 2003, Fernandez 2003).
Identification
Fernandez (in Fernandez and MacKay 2003) states "Very similar to A. foveolatus, but distinguished by: smaller size, eyes reduced to one ommatidium; foveae more dense, hypostomal teeth larger, mesosomal sides with some rugulae and color lighter."
Similar species: foveolatus.
Natural History
Known from a single worker from the stomach of Dendrobates granuliferus, a poison dart frog.
