Natural History

I have collections from diverse habitats. Workers and a queen were obtained from under debris at a beach edge site (coconut strand) on the Atlantic coast. At La Selva Biological Station, the species is occasionally encountered in Winkler samples, Berlese samples, and at baits. At Sirena in Corcovado National Park it has been collected at baits near the beach edge and in a recent treefall.
