Range

Nesomyrmex echinatinodis complex: tropical Mexico to southern and western Brazil. This species: Costa Rica, Palo Verde.

Identification

Species complex: antennae 11-segmented; metasternal lobes rounded; propodeal spiracles directed posteriorly, not highly visible in dorsal view (contrast pleuriticus). Nesomyrmex JTL-008: face reticulate-rugose throughout, not shiny; fourth abdominal tergite with dense striations or shagreening anteriorly.
