Range
Costa Rica: Guanacaste, Central Valley.
Identification
Pronotum with 1-2 erect setae.
Natural History
This species occurs in very open areas with bare soil or sparse grass. Colonies can be found in pastures, coffee farms, and urban areas. Nests are in soil, and workers forage over the ground surface.
