Range

Costa Rica: Atlantic slope.

Identification

Antennae 9-segmented, so small it is hard to count the five segments between the two-segmented club and the larger first funicular segment; mesosoma relatively elongate; propodeum with separate dorsal face rounding into posterior face; propodeal suture not impressed; petiole lacking anteroventral tooth.

Natural History

This species occurs in lowland rainforest. It is known from one minor worker from La Selva Biological Station. It was collected in a Winkler sample as part of the TEAM (Tropical Ecological Assessment and Monitoring) project.
