Range

Costa Rica: southern Pacific lowlands.

Identification

A species with no erect setae, like R. foreli, but with strongly arching promesonotum. Similar to drawing of R. prominula Kugler 1994, but with larger compound eyes.

Biology

Known from one specimen from Winkler sample, southern tip of Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica; mature wet forest leaf litter.
