Identification

Minor worker: head length 0.83mm, head width 0.58mm, scape length 1.33mm, Webers length 1.19mm (n=1). Head with strong, flaring nuchal collar; mesonotal suture impressed, metanotal groove well-impressed; propodeal spines absent, junction of propodeal dorsum and declivity marked by transverse carina; face and pronotum smooth and shiny; mesopleuron and propodeum areolate; gastral dorsum smooth and shiny; dorsal pilosity moderately abundant, long, flexuous; color red brown, mesosoma lighter than head and gaster.

Range

Costa Rica (Atlantic lowlands).

Natural History

Inhabits wet forest leaf litter. Known from one worker from 300m site on Barva Transect.
